- "Best 'Monochrome' - Black and Gray, Black and White, Gray Wash technique, regardless of size and without the presence of any color other than Black, White, and/or Gray
- "Best 'Color Tattoo' - various colored tattoos of any size that don't fit into other categories
- "Avant-garde Tattoos" - Line Work, Dot Work, geometry, minimalism, trash polka
- "Neo Traditional" - color or monochrome palette without size restrictions
- "Lettering" - color or black/gray, regardless of size and position
- - Freak show with Jacob Angel & Monica Tomaino (ATTENTION - The show may contain scenes with blood)
- "Best of Saturday" - tattoos in this category must be started and finished within the Saturday of the event by participant(s) (including collaborations started and finished on Saturday) at the expo; the winner will compete in the "Best of Bulgaria Tattoo Expo" category
- - Fire show with Krystian Minda (ATTENTION - The show contains scenes with fire effects)
21:00 - Award ceremony for winners of the contest program

- "Traditional" - colorful or black traditional style, without theme or size restrictions
- "Japanese/Oriental" - colorful or black, dragons, fish, samurais, etc., without size restrictions
- "Realism" - realistic tattoos without theme, color, or size restrictions, including portraits
- "Fantasy" - unconventional portrayal of people, faces, animals, flowers, inanimate objects, fantasy, abstract interpretations, distorted reality, regardless of size
- "Collaboration" - work created by more than one artist, started and finished at the expo; can only compete in this category
- - Freak show with Jacob Angel & Monica Tomaino (ATTENTION - The show may contain scenes with blood)
- "Best of Sunday" - tattoos in this category must be started and finished within the Sunday of the event by participant(s) (including collaborations started and finished on Sunday) at the expo; the winner will compete in the "Best of Bulgaria Tattoo Expo" category
- "Best of Bulgaria Tattoo Expo" - this category includes both winners from Saturday and Sunday + two-day collaborations (done during the event) + two-day sessions (done during the event)
